Ecological Solutions, Inc. has an immediate opening for a wetlands ecologist at our headquarters in Roswell, Georgia. The selected applicant will have the opportunity to work with a team of ecologists, wildlife biologists, and other professionals on a variety of environmental projects. Responsibilities will include conducting and overseeing jurisdictional delineations, preparing Section 404 permits, client and agency coordination, and staff development. Project opportunities range from one-day delineations to working with a Fortune 500 company, performing protected species surveys, leading agency coordination, etc. Qualifications should include B.S. or M.S. in ecology/biology or other related environmental fields. Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience including independent delineation of wetlands, preparation of Section 404 permit packages, and advising clients on environmental issues. Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or GIS preferred. Strong writing skills are required. |
